Payout structure may be different for each location. Click on the city of choice for location payout structure. Competition classes are for import and sport compact cars only (no motorcycles allowed).

TEST AND TUNE

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Open class for any make/model vehicle (motorcycles and rwd domestics included).  No payouts.  Competition racers are welcome to run in the Test and Tune lane any time of the day, even after being eliminated from other competition classes.


FWD presented by S.P.E.C. clutches and flywheels

PAYOUTS - $1200 - Must have 8 qualifiers for full payout. Less than 8 qualifiers will receive half the normal payout. Qualifiers must run 12.99 and faster.

Semi 1 - $100
Semi 2 - $100
Quarter 1 to 4 - $50 each - if enough cars for a Quick 16

CLASS SUMMARY
Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for FWD only import/sport compact oem frame vehicles only.  No restrictions on tires, interior, or exhaust.  Wheelie bars, one piece front ends, and straight axles prohibited for FI cars, OK for NA. Three qualifying passes permitted.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Lexan windows allowed. One piece front ends prohibited for forced induction applications, but allowed for naturally aspirated.   

INTERIOR
Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations.  Dash must remain for forced induction applications.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Full tube chassis prohibited. Back-half chassis and tubes are not allowed. No center-drive systems.  W heelie bars and straight axles prohibited for forced induction applications, but allowed for naturally aspirated.    


ENGINE
Only OEM 4 or 6 cylinder motor entries allowed. No air-cooled or rotary engines allowed. Motor swaps allowed as long as they stay within the same manufacturer.

POWER ADDERS
Turbochargers, Superchargers, and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination.

DRIVETRAIN AND TRANSMISSION
FWD only. Any transmission allowed.

EXHAUST
Any type of exhaust system permitted.

TIRES
Slicks or D.O.T. approved tires allowed.

Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations.  No other interior restrictions.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Full tube chassis prohibited. No center-drive systems. Wheelie bars are prohibited.

ENGINE
4 or 6 cylinder, 2 or 3 rotor engines allowed.  Domestic compact bodies limited to 4 cylinder FWD.  No air-cooled engines allowed.  Outside manufacturer engine swaps allowed. *Update 9/8/09.

Turbochargers, Superchargers and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination.

CLASS SUMMARY
Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for F/R/AWD street/daily driven import/sport compact vehicles with full interior, exhaust, and current tags/registration.  Power adders allowed.  Three qualifying passes permitted.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed.  Current tags and registration required. 
One piece and widened front ends prohibited.  Bumpers can not be removed.  Other than factory webbing, no cutting allowed on front bumper or hood (ex. cutting for large front mount exhaust/turbo/intercooler/etc).  Cutting of rear bumper for diffuser purposes OK.  *Updated 1/29/10

There are no restrictions on interior.

All vehicles must retain factory chassis. Vehicles must maintain stock drive configuration.  Wheelie bars and straight axles prohibited. 

ENGINE
Import vehicles may run 4 and 6 cylinder motors, as well as rotory motors.   Domestic manufactured vehicles are limited to FWD 4 cylinder engines.  Engine manufacture must match chassis manufacture.

POWER ADDERS
No power adders allowed. Power adders include turbochargers, superchargers, and nitrous oxide systems.  All nitrous components prohibited even if bottle is not present.

DRIVETRAIN AND TRANSMISSION
FWD or RWD allowed.  Stock driveline configuration must remain. Any transmission allowed.

EXHAUST
Any type of exhaust allowed.

TIRES
Slicks allowed for FWD vehicles only. RWD limited to DOT approved tires.

CLASS DESCRIPTION (Anything goes!)
Heads–up Pro-tree (.400) class for any Pro style only import or domestic sport compact engine and body vehicle that is not within the rules of any other heads up class.  Racers can not race in Outlaw if already eligible to compete in another heads up class.  Tube chassis, slicks, wheelie bars, one piece front ends, and air cooled entries allowed!  No restrictions on exhaust, interior, or tires.  


BRACKET CLASSES presented by TDC Performance

PAYOUTS - $200 - Must have 4 entries for full payout. Less than 4 will receive half the normal payout.
Winner - $150
R/U - $50

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Handicap sportsman tree (.500) class for any RWD, AWD or FWD import or domestic sport compact vehicle. Any 4, 5, 6, 8 cylinder and 2 or 3 Rotor import manufacturer engine allowed. Air-cooled entries allowed. RWD domestics are prohibited. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Slicks or DOT tires allowed. Any type of exhaust allowed. Drivers responsible for their own dial in time.


YOUR OWN CLASS

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Have a group of 4 or more racers that want to compete exclusively with each other?  Racers are welcome to create their own class at any Import Face-Off.  100% of the entry fees will be paid back to winner(s).  Contact IFO at 225-247-7223 to have your own class made!  Example of added classes at previous events: Hot Rod, D-Series, VW Pro Stock, Domestic Street, etc.
